That Awkward Age: Too Old for Snapchat, Too Young for Lifealert
You know, it’s kind of funny. I just published a post on five ways we can use cross stitch to manage stress. And you should read it, because it’s funny AND informative. It talks about light therapy, color therapy, and touch—texture—therapy, but the one thing it doesn’t mention is laughter therapy.
Maybe that’s because cross stitch isn’t a hobby that lends itself easily to humor. Let’s face it, when we’re shaking with laughter, it is damned difficult to get those needles into the right holes! But you know, when I ran across this quote last month, I laughed. And I laughed again when I re-read it. And it turns out it’s just as funny as a counted cross stitch design as it was on a poster!
So next time I write a fresh article on how to use cross stitch to deal with anxiety and stress, I’ll (try to) remember to give laughter therapy a mention!
