Do you like freebies? They’re definitely good karma, but stitching this for your keychain is just cool.

If we define “karma” as “ACTIONS, and the natural consequences that arise from them” then freebies are just about the best karma creators can generate. In fact, they’re brilliant. Know why?

  1. Because creating something with the intention to give it away tells universe that you’ve got inspiration to spare. And the universe will agree with you, thereby doing a lot to insure that you never run out.
  2. Honoring the creative impulse when it strikes, no matter how it strikes, strengthens creativity. It’s like using a physical muscle—the more it’s used, the stronger and more durable it gets!
  3. A gift you give away has no price. That literally makes it PRICELESS.
  4. “Intelligent generosity”—giving only where it’s wanted—is as desirable a trait to cultivate as empathy, integrity, or honesty.
  5. Freebies are a fun way to “pay it forward” for the many freebies I’ve picked up and stitched throughout the years.

Do you like freebies?. This is a horizontal line of Grimalkin paw prints. It's a divider to give a visual break in the blocks of text.

=heh= As I implied in the last item in that list, I’ve stitched a few freebies. When I want a project on-the-go, I’ll kit up a small one like this in zipper baggy then tuck it into my carry-all. I also like them when I want a fun little stitchy-something “in the hand,” perfect for when I’m chatting with a friend over coffee. Freebies are a fabulous, no-risk way to be introduced to a designer’s style! And most of them are just plain fun to stitch.

Good Karma
Hey, feel free to share our freebies with your bestie, mom, or sister — that’s part of relationship building, and stitchy relationships are some of the very best. However… please won’t you consider recommending they subscribe to our newsletter too, so they can get in our upcoming freebies as they’re released? We’d love that! Also, instead of sharing this to your favorite social media group, consider instead sharing the signup link encoded in the QR code on the last page of every Kitty Treats PDF. It’s just good karma. 😘
